R&D Grant Specialist
Many people assume that research happens only if you wear a white lab coat. But innovation is happening in business across every sector, every day.
You could be doing it without even realising. The problem that you tinkered with in a new way or that hurdle you overcame for a client could be just the ticket.
The government wants to encourage clever problem solving that grows the economy. So it makes research and development money available through the tax system. I help businesses to access this AusIndustry money.
By asking curious questions (mostly, ‘yeah, but why?’) I learn about you and your business. This helps to identify the innovation and value of what you’ve done or created.
I’ve always been the person whose brain ticks away to connects the dots. Yes, even as we’re having a conversation.
I grasp the big picture and can see the strategic pathway that’s been hidden from view. I utilise this to help business owners generate the opportunities that drive their business growth.
Through former roles in law, grants and business development I’ve been exposed to a range of sectors and scales of business. My work has always helped people to look and plan ahead.
I’m undoubtedly a people person. But my background means that I’m fully conversant in technical speak. So I can support your business to navigate systems, processes and contracts, and clearly articulate what’s what.
It gives me a buzz to collaborate and get things moving for clients. Get in touch if you want to leverage what you do and continue to do it with more money in the bank and the breathing space to grow.

Over the past 15 plus years I have working with various businesses and seen the challenge faced non corporate business. The Corporate segment has this right and for smaller organisation’s its much harder. My perspective is developing a system so that employers are not burdened with doing the right thing for their business and their staff. I look at this as employer helping employers

BE BRAVER. BE BOLDER. TAKE THE ACTION.
MAKE THE MAGIC HAPPEN.
My Story and How I Made My Magic Happen.
If you met corporate me 10 years ago I may have struck you as the epitome of success, but the truth is I was burned out and exhausted.
Tired of the constant pushing and proving. Always striving for better roles, more recognition and inner peace that alluded me. I couldn’t escape the feeling that I was playing above my station in life.
Imposter Syndrome was real and I carried it like a ball and chain.
It took a major health crisis for me to stop and reassess my priorities and consciously decide to have more fun. I traded a Professional Services job for one in Events, much more enjoyable. Then after having my first child I threw caution to the wind.
I reconnected with my Braver and Bolder self. Escaping the corporate grind altogether and moved to Thailand to create my very own dream life and business.

That’s why I now serve others, such as yourself, as a Business Coach and help you identify and own your dreams, create your dream business, and live a more joyful, purposeful and passionate life.

Brand Strategy Specialist
For 25 years+ I have been a design and marketing consultant, leading a traditional agency through the economic and technological challenges the past few decades have confronted us with. My move towards the digital side of the industry began some time around 1999 – 2000. Witnessing the degree to which the internet reshaped our industry led me to shift over time and focus on helping business & corporations to strip away the hype surrounding new media and focus on strategic planning and design that attracts.
Today you would have to say that I’m 100% fixated by differentiation. Why? Because all of the great brands that we love succeed by finding a unique position in the marketplace, and we believe small and medium sized businesses can too. So we’ve made it our mission to help passionate entrepreneurs and business creators make the transformation from a business, to brand of choice, through the power of education, strategic design and branding that connects.
Instead of merely helping my clients attract attention, I focus on helping them find their point of difference and the values their prospects will respect, so the resulting designs and branding reflect what’s meaningful to the them.
Too many companies are drawn to social media as “the answer”, but without a strategy of any kind, they actually don’t have anything worth saying or sharing. For many companies, social media simply relays faster, with greater efficiency, and to more people than ever in history, that their brand lacks depth and meaning.
By thinking strategically, making real observations and planning, anybody can build a brand that stands out (and not blend in). Having nothing to say and no distinct way of conveying your difference and value will only result in your messaging using cliches, which means you’re promoting your category, not your brand.
